神田商会からErnie Ball Music Man「St.Vincent」がリリースされた。「St.Vincent」は、アメリカの女性シンガーソングライター、セイント・ヴィンセントが自らデザインしたシグネイチャーモデルだ。
アーニーボール・ミュージックマンのAlbert Leeモデルを愛用してきた彼女は、このモデルの製作にあたり、Albert Leeのシェイプとフィーリングを求め、性別に関わらず持てるレトロ&フューチャーのイメージ、また身体の小さな彼女でも扱いやすい軽めの重量とローズウッド・ネックをリクエスト。
カラーは、Ernie Ball Music ManのCEOスターリン・ボールが好きなクラシックカーをイメージする1960年代のコルベットからインスパイア。セイント・ヴィンセント・ブルーとブラックの2色をラインナップ。
また、チューニングの狂いを最小限に抑えたシャーラー製ロック式マシンヘッドと滑らかなアーミングを実現したカスタム・ミュージックマン・モダン・トレモロを装備。ピックアップには、クロームカバーのディマジオ・カスタム・ミニハムバッカーを3基と5ウェイ・セレクター・スイッチの組み合せによるサウンドバリエーションの幅広さも魅力だ。
価格はいずれも￥370,000（税抜）。
